The Maddalena Archipelago

Established in 1994, the La Maddalena Archipelago was the Sardinia’s first national park.

This is a’a marine protected area of inestimable value, which covers over 20,000 hectares of land and sea, stretching along 180 kilometres of coastline and comprising more than 60 islands and islets shaped by the wind and currents of the Strait of Bonifacio.

The entire archipelago is a’environmental excellence It is included in the European network of protected areas (Natura 2000) and forms part of the Pelagos Sanctuary for the protection of marine mammals.

Gull Island

Isola dei Gabbiani — also known as Isuledda — is the undisputed paradise for windsurfers and kitesurfers thanks to its constant winds.

This peninsula is nestled between two wide bays which behave in opposite ways: depending on how the wind blows, you can find spectacular waves on one side and water as flat as a mirror on the other.

A very short one will be enough for you walk along the isthmus to choose the perfect setting for your day. During the summer months, it is also the ideal destination for those who love experiencing evenings of‘cool, dynamic and informal atmosphere.
